Dearest Mama,

I just finished chatting with Ate Rhea and Ate Grace. We talked about random stuffs like the usual. She said that she’s planning to go home again this October and maybe start arranging both of our U.S. visas. Sayang Ma. We weren’t able to go to my dreamland together. I hope one day when I finally go there, you’ll be with me as my guardian angel. :)

So like I told you, the whole family was here earlier. Tito Boyet, Ate Rhoan, Kuya Lowie, Dete, Tita Baby, Papa, Tita Josie, Tita Emily, Ate Kath, Ynah, Pauly and Tita Mily’s family at her side, together with Lolo, Lola and me of course had lunch together. Tita Emily cooked her version of sopas which definitely deserves a two thumbs up! It remembered me when you cooked Sarsyado then. You smothered it with cheese that I love the most. :) So anyways, the sopas came with puto and we had Maja Blanca for desert. We prayed the rosary after and I even lead it. It was just a simple gathering. Having the whole family around alleviated my glum but my nostalgia of you is still robust. I wish you are here with us Mama. :(

Tomorrow is the start of our novena at school. I was intending to come and complete the whole nine days but I decided to just stick here at home instead. I am sorry Mama. I know you don’t want me considering attending a mass as a burden. :(

That’s all for today Mama. Tomorrow is also St. Therese’s feast day and I will pray to her that she may bless your soul so it can reach the heavens with our Lord Jesus.
